Frame Selection for Your Murano Chandelier
Our chandeliers come in five frame finishes. Two in chrome, three in gold, all made by hand.
The chain and the ceiling cup always match the frame.

Chrome
Patinated Chrome
A lightly aged surface with darker tones in the shadows. It suits modern and classic rooms alike, and on most of our tube models this is the standard finish.

Chrome
Shiny Chrome
Mirror-polished steel that throws the light back into the glass. If you want maximum sparkle, this is the one. Same price as patinated chrome.

Gold
Matte Gold
A soft, warm gold with no glare. Matte gold is spray-lacquered and sits well with warm wood, lime-washed walls and natural textiles. On poliedri and palmette this is the standard finish.

Gold
Patinated Matte Gold
The same soft gold tone, but patinated. The patina adds depth to the metal and makes the frame feel more alive. If you want a chandelier that looks like it has hung there for fifty years, this is it.

Gold
Shiny Gold
Electroplated and mirror-bright, with a deep gold tone. Shiny gold is the most expensive finish, and the plating adds about a week to production.
Side by side
See the difference
The finishes are easiest to tell apart on the chain.

Shiny and patinated chrome
Shiny chrome on the left, patinated chrome on the right. The patina brings darker shadows and a quieter look.

Matte and patinated matte gold
Matte gold on the left, patinated matte gold on the right. The patina makes the tone warmer and more alive.

Shiny gold
Full shine and a noticeably deeper gold tone than the two matte finishes.
Custom colour
Your own frame colour
If you need a colour outside these five, we will paint the frame in the RAL code you give us. It costs extra and takes longer, so get in touch before you order.
